This precious little pinniped portrait is of a former patient at The Marine Mammal Center named Eggroll! This cutie was just like every other sea lion pup that comes into rehab; sad, hungry, and facing a tough road to rehabilitation. But despite having the odds stacked against him, Eggroll had the strength and tenacity to claw his way back to health and overcame severe malnutrition, dehydration, and parasites. He even contributed to the scientific community as part of a pioneer vaccine trial! This little guy is the perfect reminder that even if things seem dark or difficult, there is always a way to overcome.

Eggroll is woodburned by hand on a small basswood round measuring 4 inches in diameter and comes with a sawtooth hanger fastened to the back for easy hanging.
