This is not the first time I’ve turned a green sea turtle into art, nor will it be the last. I have such an infatuation with the sunburst pattern found on juvenile Green sea turtle carapaces! Not only are they beautiful, but each scute has a unique sunburst, different from every other scute on their own body and every turtle on the planet.
