Giddyup!

Giddyup!

An homage to a fantastic phenomenon! Sea urchins use suction cups on their tentacles, called tube feet, to hold objects on top of their bodies. Typically they use shells and rocks to provide camouflage, but when I put cowboy hats in a tank full of urchins at The Exploratorium, they wore hats!

These sea urchin prints are on 100% cotton rag paper and are hand carved, printed, and signed by yours truly. Each print is 5.5 × 7 inches and comes in an eco-friendly clearbag with cardboard backing.
